Oh alas, I wish I could do this. But I just dont know how.

I just want to make a portable PlayStation 1.

As in, make it completely portable, with a battery and everything. :(

I just need to know how. :(

Sup bro... Welcome!

BTW. If I were you I would start with something small like a portable NES or SNES.

You can buy batteries here http://www.batteryspace.com/
also buy a smart charger and a PCB ProtectionBoard if your using Li-ion Battery ( Those are the best batteries)

If your using a PS1 screen then your going to need like a 7.0v to 8.3V battery. I think the PS1 runs at 7.5V. Just double check the PS1 forums... If you need any help. PM me.

If you want to make an uber simple playstation portable, you should get a PSone and do what LOB did. You get the PSone, the white one, and you mount the controls in the case around the disc drive. Then you plug in a psone screen to the back. Mount a battery on the underside and plug it in to the screen, and you're done. Of course there are a few other small things you have to do, but it's simple.
