What kind of switch?

I was desoldering the power switch from the board and one of the pins came out. So my question is the switch a dpdt or do i have to by a new n64 for the switch?

Thats very easy to fix. Its fine that the pin fell out. On the N64 there are four sets of 2 pin areas. Solder a wire connecting each of the two pins together for a total of 4 wires. This will keep the N64 power always on. Since, you are using a switch to turn off/on the battery power.
