360 wont see videos

360 wont see videos

Well, I have a bunch of videos on my computer that I want to watch on my 360. I can access all of the videos I've recorded within windows movie maker, but not any of the other ones. I downloaded the optional media thing on the 360, but still nothing. I even tried changing the file type to .wmv (Which still worked on the PC), but it still wont show. It was originally a .m4v file. (Which the optional media thingy should be able to read according to MS) Any ideas?

Are the files/folder marked for sharing?

Did you transcode the videos from MPEG4 video to Windows Media, or just change the file extension?
