make a custom DMG case.
A truly wise man can entertain a thought without accepting it. A fool cannot withhold past judgments but instead closes his mine to new possibilities. Someone who wants to innovate simply needs to forget what everyone says isn't possible.

Bored? What's that? I've never heard of that. Seriously, how on earth can you be bored?
Play a game
Change the LED in a system
Build an LED flashlight
Write a story
Draw a picture
Design and build a custom console
Read a book
Watch a movie
Smoke the weeds behind your house and see what they do
Make a movie
Build mobile speakers for an MP3 player
Make cookies
Make a pinhole camera and experiment with surreal photography
How many more damn answers do you want? I can't stand it when people get on the internet and complain that they're bored. There's so many things to do. Get off your rear and do something.

This post brought to you by David Duchovny's glorious nipples.
Re: Bored, need a project
Boredom is only due to a lack of interest in anything currently imaginable. It's not necessarily a lack of things to do in the world, Tibia.
However, he does have a point. Boredom also describes a lack of motivation, or at least severe stubbornness, which are both quite lame.

Re: Bored, need a project
OKay I completely forgot I wanted to make an LED flashlight, so I think I'm gonna get al the parts to make one.
I already made portable speakers for my MP3 player, well tore them apart and found out how many volts they took, the transformer said it output 7.5V 0.25A, but where the power leads went to the board it said AC, so I hoked them up with a 9V battery, and wired them up in my bag, so I now have portable speakers, I want to get better speakers though the ones that are they suck, Think I'm gonna get some 3 1/2" and remount the controls.
Already added some LEDs to PS2, didn't work as well as wanted gonna order an LEd tube I think instead.
I designed a 64 laptop, though I'll never get around to building it. mainly because of how easy they fry.
So thanks for the stuff to do gonna go look for an LED tube the length I need. and parts for an LED flashlight.

Re: Bored, need a project
Well, when I'm bored, I tend to wander the internet.
It'll start off watching some "recommended for you" on youtube until something piques my interest. Then I'll head over to wikipedia or google and learn a little more about it, and something on that page will catch my attention too. Continue until you're an expert in something really weird. Why, just the other day I learned where the appendix was located, what its theorized function is, and how small it actually is. I never took a biology course in my life, no laughing.
A cool project I'm currently working on is some laser tracking. If you can drop $25ish dollars, get a laser pointer, a compatible bluetooth dongle, and johnny lee's laser tracking wiimote software, and have some fun with that.
Or use Ashish's laser tracking and control, which uses a webcam and a laser pointer, but isn't as great. But it is way cheaper.

Find an old amp in your basement and trade it to a friend for a box of projects!
I'm in the process of doing that, seriously trade stuff for half finished projects to do.

Don't need these projects really anymore school started, I'e been busy esearching a new phone, getting iPhone 3g, next weekend. and I would never trade off an old amp, there the best and I love to use them to rig a nice free sound system.
