I did a little sniffing around on ebay for you, and I don't know how much this will help but I found a macbook pretty much exactly the same as the one in that other thread for $500 shipped, Just thought you might want to know.
It has a few dead pixels, and no charger, but still, I'm sure a charger wouldn't be much.

I have sniffed ebay dry, but nothing is around my price range. That's why I'm posting here, as someone may be willing to go lower with a nice trade thrown in.
