well im not making i portable but im changing the case....with this one actually
an old soviet radio from the late 40's
those 3 knobs on the bottom? they will become 4.....and 4 controller ports at that. now the probblem im having, is that im too lazy... well not too TOO lazy, i just dont want to resolder 24 little tiny wires....so i was wondering what the pinout was for a GC controller. AND what the easiest way to relocate the ports is. thanks for your help
yeah i know isnt it retro. no if i actually had the radio i would keep it very clean in a nice glass box. unfortunatly i dont have it, im gonna make the case myself.....somehow... should be fun, ill post it when its done.
actually as a follow up to my first post, i cut the little ribon cable that connects the controller ports to the mother board.....boy was that a mistake, its proving very very hard, i'd like to know if anyone has that part available that i can buy off of them in case this one doesnt work out, what i need is the controller ports including the ribon cable.
You're building that into a gamecube, huh? This doesn't have anything to do with the pinouts, but will the CD drive fit behind the tuner window? So you could see the disc spinning? I think that would look pretty cool. (Mesmerizing PSp cd spinning all over again)

When I first saw it I was thinking along those lines too. A spinning cd thing would be sweet.
well i need to relocate the controller ports. so i would like to knoow witch pins deal with what in the controller ports and what you guys suggest for relocating the ports
that looks so sweet! i love the idea of being able to see the disc spin! isn't it amazing how something like being able to see a disc spin while we play video games is so unbelievably cool?
