OK I found this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Tri-Star-64-adapter ... 286.c0.m14
but don't want to pay $175. Does anybody have one they'd be willing to let go for a fairer price, or know how I could make one?

I don't think you could make one. It's probably similar to the gba thing for the gamecube, where it just uses the n64 for controls. I doubt you can get one for a much better price. From what I've seen, they're fairly rare.

bibin mettioned that all it is is a nes/snes/whatver thatt basicly uses power and video out from the cart slot. And for controls its probly going to the pin as well and a micro controller allows the use of the n64 contollers.
THIS IS BASED OFF BIBIN AND GOOGLE BOLTH VARY TRUST WORTH.

Hmm if you had that, doesnt that mean you could also play gameboy games on the n64, using the super gameboy snes cart?

Re: WTB Tristar 64
The tristars rarely come up often, if at all.
You probably won't seen one again for a year or two.
Inside is just a NOAC and one of the first SNES die clones. Video quality is poor, colors are washed out. There's a small rom on board that boots the N64 and reads controller input.
Also, there are a couple unlicensed GB players for the N64, but neither actually supports sound playback. You would need a Wideboy-CGB for that

Re: WTB Tristar 64
Based on what I've heard I might as well just put a few NOACs into a case with a PSone screen and call it a tristar...
Oh well.
