I know this is kind of a strange question, but I'm getting a bit desperate to fix my cruise control on my car, and am looking for some help. My car is a '95 model (I'm guessing that '94 or POSSIBLY the '96 ones will do the same) and there is a set of steps you can do to see if the cruise module is working. Basically, you only need to brake, press/hold down a few buttons, let go of the brake, and listen to see if the engine speeds up a bit. When I tried it, the engine did speed up, but it was almost insignificant. I think it may have been because of letting go of the brake more than anything else.
If anyone can and is willing to do this test, please PM me. It's very easy, only takes 2 minutes, and you don't even really have to open your hood (well, maybe that'd be a good idea, just so it'd be easier to hear the engine possibly revving).
Thanks!
