By that logic there was no neeed to make them in the first place cause of the nomad :P

On this thing though, I dont like their design much. It looks too chinese-psp-ripoff to me haha. Don't know if this is the same company, but the people that make the FC Mobile were going to make one of these (and a gamegear one IIRC but I think that one may have been dropped), and a GOAC in a case that looks like sonics head.

The point of portablizing isn't just to have a portable system, it's to have made a portable system, and it's a good hooby.

Not liking the button positioning..looks very cramp inducing

I'd still rather make my own...cause then I'd have the option of making it 100% erganomical for my own hands, and having a nice big 5" PS1 screen or something to better enjoy those awesome 16-bit graphics 8)

There is also the RetroGen.

Which has a bigger screen, and it cheaper. However, I know nothing of their combatibilty with Genesis games.

I'd make one for $200 before I ever bought some POS for $50.

You could always use one as the basis for a portable. Both the RetroGen and the GenMobile have TV out, so turning one into a comfortable, custom portable would be a breeze. They're small and very efficient. I'm also liking the 20 built-in games. If I didn't already own several Nomads, I'd honestly be considering one.
