Anyone know if this has video input?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Anyone know if this screen can take video in so it can be used for a portable?

I can get one for like 35$ locally and it would be good if I could use it for a portable.

Yes it does. That's the old Hip Gear screen.

More than likely, it comes with an A/V plug for whatever console it's designed for (in that case, Gamecube). The AV connector should have a pass-through. If you want to non-destructively test it, take a Gamecube AV cable, plug the video cables into a video output source (DVD player or something like that), plug the console end into the screen's pass-through port, turn the screen on, and the image should show up.
