PTH08000WAS Reverse voltage warning!!! MUST READ

I accidentally applied reverse 12v to my PTH08000 a minute ago, and, well, it burst into flames. Literally. I mean, 6 friggin inches of fire came off of my PTH08000. Six friggin inches.

You've been warned, just thought I'd let everyone know.

I can't tell, I had the thing wrapped in electrical tape and fortunately it didn't burst into flames quite like yours, but it did burn through the tape. Mine popped, sizzled, and smoked.
