Question about Wii ROM hacking and software

Hey guys, I got a question. Does anyone know if it possible to hack a Wii ROM?? I've got a pretty cool idea for an already made Wii game. If it is, anyone know good software to do so??

1) Ripped Wii games are ISO's, not ROM's.
2) The only game that has been hacked, that I've seen, is Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
3) Google?

If your referring to Wii ISOs, then yes, some certain games have been modified by the Wii community. For example, Brawl has plenty of cool modifications, and they're just finding more and more ways to add things into the game. What game where you looking to mod specifically?

Yea, you might be out of luck then. As far as I know I haven't seen any mods for the Conduit.

Let's say, I was to attempt this, how would I get the ISO from the cd?? I know how to create an ISO (from custom guitar hero on the PS2). So reverse that process to get the stuff that would be tweaked. What program would I need to edit the game files??

Edit: this is the only one so far. It only changes the background of the online game lobby. But its proof of a mod.

Wii games are stored on DVDs, not CDs

Your going to need to be able to run homebrew on your Wii. Run Wii Disc Dumper or a similar program, insert your game disc, and when its done you'll have your ISO. The problem is, if you want to attempt to actually mod the game, I would honestly leave it to the pros who know a lot more about the Wii's internals and its software. When/If they come up with a method or tool to mod the game and release it, then just use that.
