PS/2 ports not working?
I got an old laptop and it's PS/2 port is giving power, but keyboards and mice plugged in it isn't working. What gives?

Re: PS/2 ports not working?
Check the BIOS for related settings.

Make sure that they are in the correct ports, some systems will work with the mouse in the keyboard port and vice-versa, but most won't. Hmm... Laptop... If it is the one port type, you may need to use the correct splitter to get keyboards and mice working. Laptops tend to lack longevity, compared to desktops, and the port may be dead. One last thing, older versions of Windows (not to mention DOS) couldn't handle multiple mice/keyboards at once, so you may have to hit a keyboard combination on the in-built keyboard to enable the external port.
