Atari / Amiga joystick on xbox 1

hi i found a mod for a xbox pad to add a 9pin d socket to connect old style atari / amiga joysticks to the xbox , great for playing all those emulators on a moded xbox

only problem is it requires soldering wires to the very thin legs of the chip in the xbox controller

i dont fancy this job and was wondering if anyone had a xbox controller schematic so i could find a better solder point for each connection.

if anyone can point to a schematic or even tell me better points to solder to on the pcb that would be great
