charging battery

I want to set up a charger to charge this battery, I want to use a jack like this http://www.parts-express.com/pe/pshowde ... ab=14#Tabs, and a plug like this http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdet ... er=090-492, But would I just connect the pieces from the jack to the positive negative of the battery (rough drawing at bottom). I cannot find any wall adapters that are rated 250mA, would it work that way (wall adapter -> jack -> battery)
