psp slim display on psone screen

hii everyone, just looking for a few educated opinions here; does anyone think its possible to put the tv out signals from a slim psp, onto a psone screen??

If the PSP output signal is composite (AV plugs) then 99.999$ says it'll work fine. You'll have to open it up and solder to the board, but it should be easy enough anyway.

i guess what i need now(cuz im such a bloody n00b with this stuff) is a translation, of which points are:

Red, Blue, Green, composite/Yellow, and video ground.

You don't need RGB. Just composite, and audio maybe. A headphone jack has three terminals- I have no idea what tha picture shows. When you hook the PSP to a TV, how do you do it? AV cables? Then just cut the plugs off and solder the wires to the PSOne screen. No modification of the PSP will be necessary. Just the cable and screen.

the thing is, the psp wont play games on composite mode, it has to be rbg, and thats easy, but the psone screen needs a c-sync when taking rbg signals. c-sync is also commonly referred to, as composite, which is also known as, yellow. so i just need to know which of those 12, is yellow, im sure i can work out the rest

It doesn't support RGB out from the diagram you gave, only component video. So, it won't work without serious modding of the PSOne screen, or using a transcoder. Component video uses cables colored red, green and blue, but not the signal type red, green, and blue. Additionally, it looks like it switches modes based on the resistor placed, so there is no composite out when the component cable is connected. One last thing, while composite video can be used on some monitors in place of composite sync, it won't work on all.

The 2000 does not support output of composite - only component is available.

On the 3000, there is support for both.
