I'm decently new to modding and I'm having a little trouble with my battery, it's a BT-41 (like the one used in Systm) and this is the second one I've bought. Whenever I test the board the maximum voltage I get is about 3.3v whereas if I test the raw batteries I get all 7.4v. Both of the batteries I've bought have had this issue. Should I have charged the batteries or is there a deeper issue? I don't want to hook them up to anything until I'm sure I'm getting the proper voltage. Also, this battery (unlike the first one) is brand-new, just out of the box, so I doubt that it came broken.
PS. I'm seriously tired of buying new batteries.

What kind of wires are you using? No, no. I'm testing the pads on the battery directly, not the wires coming from it, besides I'm sure the wires I'm using are the correct gauge. I will charge it though.

The top two terminals on the BT41 are the power terminals, the bottom are charging. Do you have them right?

What do you mean by bottom? if the board is in front of me and the batteries away, or...? I've re-watched the Systm video and they're using the same two pads I am for power and the others for charging. the small plastic thing that was attached to the board also affirms that I'm using the correct place.

I fixed it... I'm not 100% sure how, but it's working and hasn't stopped so far.

what did you change on it to make it work? I think I've had similar issues and would like to know what I did wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
