Okay So I'm tired f getting burnt when lighting fireworks, so I had a pretty good idea for a schematic, and I'll post it up later, but when researching the detonator's it seems I'm gonna need an ignition, I don't want to have to build a new one for every firework I launch. OS i was wondering an ideas on a re-usable electric ignition.
EDIT: also where could I get a 12V battery (preferably small), something that could burn through a 10 ohm quarter watt resistor

Re: Electronic Detnator
I know I alread have a design for the detonator I was just wondering on a reusable ignition. I'm gonna do the ignition this way http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-770uMBQ ... re=related" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, but I'm not sure what battery I should get, want something small though.

Re: Electronic Detnator
That 10Ohm resistor thing was pretty cool...
However, less power + reusable == Nichrome wire.

Maybe a launcher for model rockets might work. You'll have to buy the ignition things that go into the rocket, but I'm pretty sure you can get a lot for cheap.
