PSOne Screen CCFL Voltage?

PSOne Screen CCFL Voltage?

Does anybody know or can anybody measure how many volts the original CCFL takes? Is it DC or AC?

Around several hundred to a thousand volts AC. FWIW most cheap digital photo frame or DVD player inverters work fine also with the PSone tube.
