Polaroid 0700 No Power Help

Hi everyone. I have been on this forum for probably a year just reading and learning never registered. Finally I have decided to register since im at the point i need some help and want to talk about my progress and all i have learned hear at ben heck. Im at work right now so i cant post pics of my progress yet but i will post them when i get home tonight. until then let me tell you where im at. I am making a n64 portable for about 3 months now. i have made the case. very similar to the darth 64. i acquired a laser doodle and monted a psone screen and n64 controller to the case. joined it all together with some pvc black glue and then added hardening clay and sanded. I made the pth0800 and I got the n64 board ready to wire. Now for the part im stuck at and desperately need help. i have searched the forums with no luck to my answer. so here it is.....

i have a polaroid DV 0700 dvd player which i ripped the battery out of. before i disassambled it i made sure it held a charge and worked. then i took the battery out with the charge protector in place. Now my question is this. the charge protector has 4 solder points. 2 that go to the ac wall charger and 2 that go to the n64 / screen. i have a diagram from ben heck showing which one does what. now once i removed the battery i hooked the 2 solder points to the DC POWER JACK which was on the dvd player i just ripped it off and soldered both pos and neg to it. its just basically a male metal stick that plugs into the wall charger female adapter. after doing so i get no life of power when its plugged in to the pcb. the led doesnt turn on. now im not sure if im supposed to wire both wires to one lead? i dont know if i fried the pcb. i found wiring diagrams on ben heck for the polaroid pcb but it doesnt work for me. i will post pics later but if anyone can help please do so.

will this work for the polaoid dv 0700 wall charger?

ive done so much thank to this forum and invested a lot of money on this portable with the hopes of someday introducing it to all of you but im stuck and this is the second battery i baught for this project and i really hope its not fried. if it is the batterys gotta still be good right maybe just need a new pcb? please help guys. Bacterian or SS i kno you can help me if you find some time. Thanks in advance. jsut try to explain how to wire the polaroid pcb to the wall charger including the plug that connects them and sizing. and any other help. sorry about me writing a book but i am passionate about this and i have come a far way. i wish i could post pics to get some respect but i cant right now. tonight i will for sure. please please please help me.
