Costing up an N64 Portable for my brother, need some help

Hey, after discovering that the N64 can be turned into a portable, my brother really wants to get his hands on one. since i have depression + hyperthyroidism i am off work at the moment, so i figure since i can do some basic soldering i can follow some guides and make him one. thing is i am new to all this, so id just like to run this by you all: (note: i live in london, uk, so please keep that in mind)

What i need advice on:
BTW i do have some tools already, but they are crap so its time to replace them, are my choises decent (i have been shopping around)
Wether the componants i have now listed are viable
Have i missed something
Where to get Canon bp-915 Li-Ion 7.4V 4000mAh batteries and charger in the UK
Where to get decent Heatsinks (im pretty sure i can find fans, but im open for suggestions)
If something i have linked too isnt as cheap / good enough quality as something you can link me to id love to know

All comments and criticisms are welcome. me and my brother do intend to use bacteria's method of vacuum forming because it gives such a nice finish (if we can pull it off) but for now i am just trying to work out a shopping list of what we need and how much we will spend

You can search in Ebay (or Amazon) for Ni-Mh AA batteries if its your first time. (Its also my first time, im making one too!) And a PS1 screen is the easiest to use.

i really dont want to use Ni-MH because they dont really last long enough. if im using official Li-Ion Batteries unmodded, and removeable to sit on an official unmodded charger it shouldnt explode any more than charging my DS or my Phone does. as far as im aware they explode from overcharging, not overuse ;D but please put me right if im wrong ^_^

and yeah if i can ill grab a PsOne screen just because its so well documented. i want the least trouble for the first time (although i dont want to compromise quality). i am wondering if i sould grab some colored LED's to brigten up the console though, maybe a power light mod to a different color for example

i had a look and it all seems to be good (looks like somebodies done their research )
as for the battery shop around ebay, im not sure about that except model but you can usually find similar spec models and chargers for around 19 ish GBP (inc. shipping if you snag a bargain).
as for heatsinks look around your local electronic store or maybe try maplin or something? (im not sure about uk online elec' sites)

right, someone linked me to this: Li-Ion 2300mAh 7.2V (it says 7.4V on it but i mailed the seller and he said they were 7.2V)

im sure i read from some of the guides on here that with the PsOne screen and all i would need 7.4V battereies, so would these ones do? or do i need to keep looking?

And yes, those batteries will work fine. When Li-Ions are charged, they're usually ~1v above the voltage they say they are. Like when 7.2v li-ions are fully charged, they would be at 8v. Plus, the PSOne screen can take down to 6.8v.
