So, yeah, I'm new. Hi.
I kinda lurked here for a day with plans of hacking up my GBC, but after seeing how complex looking it is, I decided to make what seems to be the 'starter porject' around here, an NESp. My idea was to use an old SNES cart as the case, since the seem kinda big, and someone managed to fit a NOAC into a single controller.
My main concerns are the size of a NOAC, cartridge slot, and battery draw. The screen I'm using is The one from http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-DVD-L25-H ... 483&sr=1-1, but I was reading some topics and saw something about RGB and Composite. Is there any way to find out what this screen uses?
Any help is appreciated, as well as good places to get a small NOAC.
Helpless new guy hoping for help.

Re: Helpless new guy hoping for help.
After a quick search, and a look through that thing's manual, I see that it doesn't have any input jacks on the outside. This means that the unit might use a digital screen, much like the gameboy or psp. It doesn't guarantee it, but the screen may not work.
Has anyone here had any experience with this screen?

If you were to use an snes cartridge case, you might want to try a super gameboy. They have a good amout of space in them. Well, not much, but more than a regular cart. For the screen, I am not sure if that one has composite in, so I would not take the chance and buy it. Try a dealxtreme pustom screen instead. For a small NOAC, try a super joy III. They look like a n64 controller. They do not have the best compatability and they have a famicom slot instead of nes, but they are still pretty good for small portables.

Ok, thanks. I was hoping not to have buy a new cart for the case, but upon looking, the standard cart looked pretty small. If I have enough, I'll see if I can get the super gameboy, otherwise I'll try and cram it into a normal one.
As for the Super Joy 3, is there any place specifically that sells them?

Sweet, thanks. I didn't put in the power player bit.
Is there a guide or something to opening the dealextreme screen?
