Anyone know of one? I'm experimenting with an EZ-Flash V with ram expansion, and the internet browser got me thinking that it'd be fun to play MUDs on the DS instead of the computer. I'm not too concerned about how small the screens are, or that typing is a bit slow.
Or, if there isn't a MUD client specifically for the DS, is there a web-based client that would work with DSOrganizer's built-in web browser?

Re: DS MUD Client
I've always been a fan of a good MUD. I'll be watching this thread for answers.
Sorry that I don't have anything useful to contribute to the thread. :/
In fact, now I regret posting this.

Re: DS MUD Client
My thought would be to find some kind of a web based telnet extension, but that might involve scripting and get quite messy on the DS's screen. Seeing as most good MUDs run on BBS'es with Telnet, you should look for a terminal app for the DS.

Re: DS MUD Client
The only web-based clients I've seen use flash, and neither the commercially available DS browser or the homebrew DSOrganizer seem to like it very much. I know nothing about programing or writing homebrew, but is it possible to convert a self-contained .exe application into a .nds rom to use? I realize this is probably a very stupid question with a "technically it's possible, but...." answer, but I'm just wondering if it is something I could do.

Re: DS MUD Client
Another possibility is a non-flash based one, one which uses java script and PHP, perhaps? What you should look out for is a terminal app, one that can do telnet. I have no clue if any such thing exists. As far as I am aware you can do that with the hardware, since all you need to do is interpret ASCII and ANSI codes and be able to communicate on port 23, both of which I assume the DS hardware can handle, but if someone has written an application for it I don't know.
