Battery Question

Oh, No the N64 is fine, its running great xD

at 3.7v it didnt kill it, it just f'ed up the Video signal...

But dont worry about the board its a fine condition...

I'm done for tonight though, I'll get at it tomorrow.


But thanks for the suggestion I'll keep it in mind if i ever do mess up the board.

Hmmm, one last thing.

How many amps are needed to power the n64 properly?

I have 2.8a coming off the batteries when they're off, 2.4a off the batteries when on,

But at the console it goes down to only 1.6a...

anyone know why?

Under load the readings can change. The n64 with the screen can draw about 1.7 amps. You should be fine with those batteries.

Okay, Heading to radio shack to get enough resistors to pull off around 1.8k ohms, I'll post the results in about 30 mins to an hour
