I have a dvd driver from lg working stoped here too..
I would like to know if i can use directly the dvd driver on my dreamcast to play games or if i can open the dvd driver and take out the optical unity to use on my dreamcast..

Hi, i have a "stoped" dreamcast here.. (cuz the optical unity its broken)

No. They are not compatible. Your best bet is to get another Dreamcast, and use it, or salvage parts from it if it is not working.
