Use dreamcast keyboard on pc.. its possible?

Hi

First of all sorry about my really bad english (LOL, im better to speak and listen than write)

I would like to know if its possible use a dreamcast keyboard on pc.. and another thing
One day i use a old on controleer for dreamcast and tryed to adapt to my pc.. ( i found some squemathics on internet).. and my so (windows vista) reconized like a unknow usb device.. maybe this its just a question of a correct driver???

If you were to plug in the keyboard to your adapter and then try install it with a regular keyboard driver that might work.

If your running windows it should already have preset keyboard drivers, so you won't need any special drivers.

sorry, I'm a little confused. In your first post you said you found the schematics. Could you post a link to the schematics please. Also, have you tried building this yet?

You need a microcontroller of some sort to convert the signals from Maple Bus (what Dreamcast controllers and other input devices use) and USB. You're not going to just wire some pins together to get it to work on a PC. It's rather odd that you got any recognition at all if you just wired some wires together. The Maple Bus protocol is similar to USB, but it runs at a different speed and doesn't use the same style device identification.
