WTB: Fried Mini Snes

I got a little overzealous when I was trimming my mini snes board and now it doesnt work. So if anyone is willing to send me a fried mini snes for the cost of shipping and a couple bucks for your troubles, I would REALLY appreciate it.

Someone here has to have a broken one laying around somewhere

Why do you need it?
I've got a semi-fried minisnes.

to sand it down and see what traces I cut by accident so that I can repair them on my snes.

I'll ask my parents if I can have the MiniSNES. It is kinda fried- plays cartridges sometimes but you have to try several times to get it to work other times. $2 at a garage sale!

The mini SNES is a 4-layer board, if you cut through the PCB there's really no way to know what to reconnect. You can sand through the solder mask and silkscreen layers on both sides to see the traces on the surface.

So where exactly would these other layers be? I sanded one of the pieces I chopped off and once I got past the green stuff (silkscreen?) there was a layer of some traces, but that was it. There wasn't anything under the traces except for the plain board itself. And looking at it from the side, I don't see any other traces running through the middle of the board.

Yeah you could desolder all the components off of yours and mine and replace mine with yours!

Nope. Im gonna sand it down like I said and try and fix mine.

Oh. I was just joking anyway. But that could result in a perfectly working SNES. You wouldn't even need to replace the simple components like resistors, just the more complicated ones. Nah, that's a dumb idea.

Well since marshallh killed the idea I didn't ask my parents if I could have the miniSNES. I'll ask tomorrow.

Ah I see, the internet isnt that great for conveying emotions. TBH I dont think any parts need replacing. Just need to clean the cart slot.
