Charging a 3G ipod with a computer

I have one of these ipods (as well as my regular one)

(Not Mine)

It doesn't charge via usb, and it really annoys me. Is there a way to hack it/mod it to charge via usb?

unfortunatly these models only charge via firewire (IIRC)

Ya. That's why I want to mod one to charge USB, but it doesn't matter because I traded it for a 360.

Well, as of right now, it's a somewhat crappy 360. It's really moody when it comes to reading games.

I opened it up, cleaned out all the crap, etc, etc and now it works decently. Stopped reading skate. though, and its annoying.
