1 Year, 500 Members

Post by Black Six »

Well, it didn't quite coincide with the 1 year anniversary, but today we got our 500th member, Niku-Sama. Congratulations guys, this is a real milestone. Maybe by next year we'll have 1000 members, or maybe even 1500! Keep spreading the word...

Is it possible to reset a persons posts counter? Should do it to bicostp, except then he'd probably spam 4 times more.

Well you can delete his account, then reset everything. :) Though Im sure theres a number you can change somewhere that keeps track of post count.

Why would you delete my account? I try not to spam. I've just been trying to get information and facts straight before I build a portable myself.

It's not like I spam on purpouse (here, anyways).

Why does post number matter, anyways? Just because I have posted a crazy number of times, does that make me a bad member? :( At least I don't post about random stuff like Rhubarb Pie, or ask questions like "can i use a gamegear screen?" :(

No, you just make a comment for every stupid question that comes to mind.

"what kind of screws should I use? Brass or copper?"

I'm sure you'd eventually ask that one.

And its not the little counter that matters, its that you've made over 500 posts in little over a month.

Probably.

OK, so I do ask a lot of questions. I am only starting, after all! And sure, I do make a lot of unnecessary posts, but I only went to a Nintendo forum a couple of times, so I don't know when not to post. But I have caught myself making stupid remarks before and not posted them. If I still posted the way I did a month ago, F42 would be full of "how do I undo flathead screws" and "Where is everybody".

Oh, BTW, should I use a green LED for my power light or a red one?

*Kidding*

Well, we are improving i guess, you'll get a biscuit if you're still under a thousand after your second month.

I guess I'm one of those "over-enthusiastic" newbies. I should mellow out after a while. My daily posts have gone down now that all the snow melted up here in New England. I couldn't hang out with anyone from school, the basketball hoop was frozen over, and the snow was extremely boring, so I hung out around the 'boards. Where else can someone socialize without leaving the office?

EDIT: What kind of biscuit?
