any uses for a cheap "fat" ps2?

I found a ps2 on ebay that's being sold locally, so if I did local pickup I could save $15 on shipping and probably get it pretty cheap.

But are there any sweet mods I could do with it? I cant make it portable because its the fat model, and I'd rarely actually play it just as a normal console.

you could install a mod chip then put a big hard drive in. that way you could put all ur games on it and never have to worry about disks again

dude i have a picture on my build thread of a modchip i installed in a system for my portable, havnt heard one negative word about it. and anyway, when it comes to a fat ps2 mods, that would make it "look cool", there really isnt much except maybe painting the case up, or if you really feel like getting creative, maybe you could try the pelican case mod???

Its an internet adaptor, hard drive, and a disk. No mod chips. I used this for something I made for a guy

Don't bother with a modchip, try McBoot.
