Gensis 3 portable out of pocket tv
does anyone know how to make a genesis portable out of an old pocket TV, (which are useless for watching TV now because of the digital TV switch)? I have a genesis 3 and a pocket TV to work with, I haven't really been able to find any useful information on the internet, I've been messing around with it and I got the genesis to display on it but not very well (it does not have a/v inputs, just a antenna ext. port, which I haven't had any luck with at all.).I need to figure out a way to power the genesis, what to do for the controls, and how to make it all into one unit. I am trying to do this with just things I already have. please don't tell me to just buy a nomad, I know of their existence.

Well, I listed the pinouts in the reference section for the Genesis 3.... 
If you want easy, plug in the controller to the front port and then try to frankencase the controller and system case together. There should still be enough room inside to put some AAAs and a pocket tv.
About the screen, you might need another, sorry to say. If it doesn't have inputs for av, then it likely won't accept it. You can get pocket tvs that accept av input at around $20 online, if that helps, or there's always a flea market.
And for batteries, I was able to power my Genesis off of 4 AAA alkalines. (I only tested it for a moment)

Well, if you don't have inputs, you could use the rf modulator (the black box on the cable for connecting to your tv) and wire it to the external antenna port, but that won't be to great looking. You say you've gotten the display to work with the genesis though, so you may be able to refine that until it works well.
For controls, you can wire a 3 button directly to the board and then arrange the buttons as you wish.
