It's "just" hernia repair surgery, so nothing too major. They say I'll be back to work in a week. Only time shall tell, I suppose. I admit, I'm a bit freaked out, as I'm a "virgin," as my surgeon put it.

First surgery? They aren't bad, you don't have to do any work for a long time and get to eat lots of ice cream.

Apparently morphene is the active ingredient in heroin.

That's why on the rez, natives do morphine because it is cheaper than meth. :? Didn't you guys know this? It's pretty old news now.

Morphine is an opiate, and heroin consists of many opiates.

Thanks for the support, guys :)

The wife'll have to put up with me for a whole week, but at least I'll be set to go before she gives birth to our third child. That actually means good things for the portable when that happens... 3 a.m. nights for me for a while.

I am home from surgery. Went way easier than expected. I am laid up on the couch for the day, perhaps tomorrow as well, we shall see.

I'm off for the next 11 days, so work on the portable shall continue once I don't feel like I got hit by a truck.
