Dr. Killgood posted a picture of a completely relevant, on topic, non lewd link to a device containing a remotely operated vibrating motor deviceand got banned. Let's not have another one, because nobody can seem to behave like adults about things like that around here.
Fix'd.

Stop whining about a serial troll's ban, especially since this thread has absolutely nothing to do with that.

To be honest, I don't know what the point of a bristlebot is. The best use for it would be for painting or cleaning.

Their point is that they are pointless! Just cool little things that cruize around :) I dunno bout a contest, but i'd certainly like to make a massive one one of these days

A simple robot that uses the vibrations from a motor and the bristles from (usually) a toothbrush to move.

What if you were to take a rumble motor from a controller, and put it on a bigger brush? :D >:3

The rumble motor from a controller is just a generic motor with a half-circle attachment. Fairly easy to make rather than taking a controller apart for one.

As for attaching one to a brush, you'd have to have a pretty big brush for it to not flip itself over and carve chips into your desk.

I have a 1/2 HP motor in my garage I took out of an old dryer.

I WAS going to turn it in to something useful, but...

I've got a 10 hp engine from a snow blower sitting around...I think I'll use that for an epic bristle bot the likes none have ever seen. It will spread terror and destruction were ever it goes! maw hahaha!
