Dose anyone have a gd-rom they would be willing to sell? I just bought my little bro. a Dreamcast from the flee market and the gd-rom will not work!!! :x the spindle seems to be froze :roll: . Thanks in advance. :mrgreen:

The GD-rom is the disk. You mean the GD-rom drive?

yeah i meant the drive. LOL :oops: So dose any one have a spare d GD-rom drive for sell?

the spindle won't spin or it gives you error messages?

if its just the spindle not spinning, you might be able to open it up and make sure everythings plugged in nice and tight or maybe there's a short in a wire.

but it is that the disc just isn't spinning? I might have the spindle from an old disc read error drive somewhere, but its from the model where instead of the gd-rom drive plugging into the motherboard with one big cable it uses several different plugs.

I FIXED IT!!!!! :mrgreen: i got a spindle out of a old ps1 and wired it up then adjusted the lazer pot and it booted the disk just fine. :twisted: thanks for all the help! 8) :mrgreen: :D
