FS: Vacuum forming plastic! PICS

Post by khaag »

I have access to 2'x2' sheets of polystyrene plastic sheets that would be absolutely perfect for vacuum forming. They are 0.080" (2mm) thick. I work at a hardware store so I can get my staff discount on them. I'd be able to sell the sheets for $10 each + shipping, and then cut them to smaller sizes based on your specifications to reduce the cost of shipping.

If anybody is interested, let me know.

Oops, definitely put this in the wrong forum. Could a mod please move this to the Trading post?

As long as I work at Rona! As for not having a vac-table, just build one! I built mine with scrap MDF I had laying around and I did it in an hour and a half. Works really well too. I'll put up some plans if anyone is interested.

If I build one, I will probably make a really small one. Makes storage and building it easier, and the suction will work better over a smaller area.
