Hi, I'm pretty new to this whole modding thing, so feel free to just direct me somewhere if this has already been addressed. I'm looking to build an N64 handheld and am in the processes of acquiring parts. From reading through the forum, it sounds like the PS One Screen by Sony is the preferred screen, but there are also a lot of references to the PS2 screen made by Zenith. I've gathered that these screens are pretty similar, but I wasn't sure exactly how close they really are. I have Ben's book and was hoping to be able to follow his instructions for the LED mod and such, but I'm not sure if it applies to the Zenith screen as well. The Zenith screen seems to be a little easier to come by, which is why I ask - otherwise I would use the Sony one. So basically, am I giving anything up or creating any problems by using the Zenith screen?
Thanks!

Zenith is exactly the same as the PSone screen, just a different case, AV connector, and power connector (for our uses, they're all the same where it counts).

Okay thanks! I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to be creating more problems for myself by going with something other than the Sony one.

The main screen board is the same. The case and mounting system are different. The connector board is different. It doesn't really matter when you are modding it. The Zenith screen is a lot cheaper, I've seen new ones for $50.
