Testing the waters: Modded Dingoo A320

Post by ShockSlayer »

Okay, I was wondering if there was any interest for one of these. (learn about it here) It has a wii classic controller d-pad glued over the original dpad(fixes diagonal problem, very comfortable), a switch that fixes the y/b button glitch(theres a vid on the site I linked to explaining that), and a switch where the mini sd slot was(removed due to a failed mod) that tricks the dingoo into thinking its plugged into the USB (so it can overclock) by connect the 3.7v from the battery to the 5v in on the usb. Just don't plug it into the usb with the switch on.

I was thinking about $100, new ones are ~$80, but this one has been modded to fix problems they haven't/can't/won't address in the FW.

Interest? Need funds for Compo entry.

It's cool, but I dont want it. If I was going to get a dingoo I'd need the mini SD slot...

for retro games, 4 gigs is mega overkill. most "old" games are under 1 megabyte, and quite a few are just a few kilobytes.

so then you'd have 2.5 gigs left? seems like enough room to me.

I'm using my parents pc, and it seems to f**k up posting on forums. Not only this forum, but like 5 others. I was trying to say 2.5GB wouldn't be enough for me due to the other console games. Anyway I'll leave the topic now since it's not helping SS sell it... so free bump good luck ;-)

All under 4 gigs!
