If you look at old posts and topics from most people when they start here, they/we all tend to ask "noobie" questions, as you get more experienced you don't ask "noob" questions and tend to answer them instead.

There are two camps: one camp of noobs start asking lots of questions and learn from them, develop techniques and later end up answering noob questions when they are more proficient or knowledgeable, and the other camp of noobs on the other end of the spectrum ask silly questions (like someone who PM'ed me recently and asked which way around to mount a tact switch, and if they need to use wires to wire connections) that you know they will never stay or make anything useful. Bad grammar is annoying, and looks bad, but is probably more a case of sloppiness rather than being a noob in itself.

Just use good grammar/punctuation, contribute when you can, don't be rude, follow the rules, and people will remember you for it. That's how you can become better established in the forums. It's also good for real life as well!

Plus, look at RDC for example: less post, more mods.

As Bacteria said we all end up asking "noobie" questions when we start. However, this is a rare community in which we usually don't flame people for asking questions. Read the stickies, eventually you'll be asked a question by someone new. Just don't post random things and try to be friendly and people will think of you better.

I recieved a PM for help on a question 3 months ago. Just ask intelligent questions and be polite, it works.
