hey there i have a gamecube joytech 5,6 screen i plan to use ina laptop type build. however i want to use the built in game connector and turn it to av is this possible. i cant seem to find a female connector anywhere

Perhaps you may buy a smaller one.

also the connector on the back looks identical to the snes ones can i plug a snes into the screen

Yes, it'll work if you can get it to physically fit (if it's made to fit a gamecube the housing may prevent you from plugging it in).

sorry i post quite late because i'm Uk time. I want to strip the connector off the screen and turn it into the av type jacks but i cant seem to find much on the layouts

Your going to have to find a pinout then compare the wire connections. It's late, more info tomorrow.
