How many should i use?
just wondering how many LEDs most of you use when you do the LED mod for your screens? is using three the most popular because i wouldn't think that would be enough light..

I use four. Three just isn't enough.

I used three like Ben did in his book. If i were to add a fourth one, would I have to change the resistor?

You one resistor in seires for each led, with the sets arranged in parallel. Otherwise you'll overdrive LEDs due to manufacturing inconsistencies.

Use this LED calculator. It will show you exactly what marshallh is talking about, and give you exactly what kind of resistor you need.
