Got one question right now.
It's possible to run a Hip Gear screen and a NOAC of six aa batteries right? Also my NOAC is not the superjoy type (don't ask me what kind) It came in a silver case and had a US cartridge port on it (quite convenient actually) It had a 7805 Regulator but will 6V be too much or by the time the screen sucks the batteries will the power be down to around 5V. Don't want to fry my NOAC.

4AA's would work too. No regulator needed. Although, from what I heard, the audio amp needs more than 4.8v, assuming you are using rechargables

I like the design! It's got something you dont see too often, radial symmetry, but no lateral! If you can pull it off, you're gonna have a classy looking portable

I don't think it's too small at all really. Have you seen ben's mini nes? It's quite small, quite thick too in contrast to it's overall size, but rather tiny overall.

Lateral symmetry is when you can put a line straight up and down, or straight across an object, and each half will look the same as the other.


Radial, or rotational symmetry occurs when you can rotate an object, and the shape will appear the same.


With your design, you can't cut it in half and have 2 peices that are identical mirrors of each other, but if you were to rotate it around, say 180 degrees, it'd have the same shape as it would the other way around.

Might be cool to swap the speaker with the start/select buttons and put the big curve in the lower right corner so that it is evocative of the original Game Boy.

That is definatley cheap enough and it just keeps looking better and better to me.

It'll probably be a while before I actually get enough money to buy it though.
