Re: Where can I buy a Famicom?
I'll be back in Japan within a week if you want me to pick you one up. Shipping isn't the nicest cost though.
Re: Where can I buy a Famicom?
I'm a big fan of RisingStuff (gotten lots of PC Engine titles from 'em) and they're very reasonable on shipping.

They've got a system w/cables, etc. for $49 and a boxed complete system for $69. Both show out of stock right now, but if you email them they can probably get one fairly quickly (I've had great luck in the past).

I usually just hit up the normal pawn shops, they're $10-$30 IIRC depending on the condition and the cords.
Found a Famicom Duo for $80 that I want..but not sure if the disk portion is in good condition ><

Actually, if you get your hands on any Saturn stuff, let me know as I might be interested in buying some.

What games?
And you could, uh, modify your Saturn... Having a real copy is always better in any case, though, I think.
Of course, I need either a Japanese Saturn or an Action Replay cart to play any of my imports. I prefer the former idea - I love the way those Japanese Saturns look. I suppose I could also do a region mod, but I don't like that idea since I have the soldering skills of a monkey.

Re: Where can I buy a Famicom?
I have some Japanese saturn games up on ebay as we speak (although they're just evangelion ones
)
But yeah, I'll keep my eyes out for stuff, it's not too hard to do requests while at the pawn shop, but shipping is a killer. I'd probably ship it back home in one box, and have it all shipped from there.

Re: Where can I buy a Famicom?
I looked at your auctions. Nice Bayonets BTW. I have that exact neon genesis card "game" for the saturn. Never played it though.
The games I am trying to get rid of is from a lot I bought when I was working on a trade with Saturn T.
Sakura Wars 2
These games are "questionable"...
2 x Nomura Byoin no Hitobito (one without manual)
Kakyusei
Can Can Bunny (?)

Re: Where can I buy a Famicom?
Back ON subject!!!
If you can find one in Japan for less than $30 that'd be great.
Also, do you plan on shipping it from japan or waiting until you get back?

Not sure yet, but if I get enough stuff to make it worthwhile, I'll ship stuff back as soon as I can.
