I replaced my xbox hdd with a 3020 gb western digital hdd. I used Softmod installer 5. when I first loaded everything it said that I was going to have the full 300 (or close to it) I loaded UnleashX. When I started putting stuff on my F drive i noticed that i had about 120 gigs. Any ideas why or how I could fix this would be great!
Thank you very much

I believe the F partition can only be a certain size, and another partition is made if the hard drive is bigger (I think its the G partition).

Two things:
1. You need a mod chip with LBA 48 support (most of the last generation do, but the very first and second generation ones don't) to support drives larger than 137GB.
2. You need to partition and format the hard drive using the *very latest* version of XBPartitioner. All previous versions do not support large enough cluster sizes (32kb) for partitions larger than 250GB - previous versions will either not get you the full size you want, or will start to corrupt the filesystem once you reach the maximum limit for the smaller cluster size (ie store more than 250gb and it will go completely bizarro).

BTW: The F partition size limit sounds like what happens when you don't have the later version of xbpartitioner - it will split the remaining space between F and G. You need the latest version and have to setup the partitions manually (ie do the bare minimum first: C,D but leave F and G until you can get the proper xbpartition version).

Re: Xbox HDD not showing full disc space
When I threw a 320GB drive in my xBox I partitioned it with Slayer's Auto Installer and it gave me a F:\ partition of 216GB, something like that. Not sure if it'll work on a softmodded xBox though.
There's No Place Like 127.0.0.1.
