There's bad grammar, and then there's idiot speech. This thread was an example of the latter.

Yeah, its just people seem quick to take things like constructive criticism the wrong way. And on the flip side, some seem to not know how to help without criticizing. Its just different than I have seen on PBvids and Spud Files. But I guess I don't have an incredible amount of "forum experience" though.

Palmer is right. On gamefaqs, things are so much worse. There is spam in just about every forum on there.

I know I joined in before but the horse is dead, stop punching it. The kid who started this thread was probably just an 8-year-old scrubby (well he acts like a scrubby no matter how old he is) and every person who joined in to defend him or pitch their own two cents about why it doesn't really matter that he wouldn't type correctly was acting like an equal or greater-sized scrubby and just wanted to fight when it could have just been left alone and ended up fine.

Honestly, people are acting like jerks because the person who asked for help couldn't shape up after being told politely enough that people didn't want to help him because of his projected incompetence and it seemed like he was obviously lying.

It's only the internet but in a well-established site like this, if you really want serious help from grown-ups or to make progress towards what you want, you have to act seriously like a grown-up and type like you care. If it's one offense, most of the time it'll be left alone but if you repeatedly mistype or act immaturely I fully support people flaming you.
