So i'm in the process of building a GCP and a DCP and i'm wondering what casings you all have used as the primary device housing. I'm using the 5" PS1 screen and standard controllers for both, any info would be greatly appreciated!
hmm.. what are those primarily used for? i'm just now getting into this kind of modding and i have a bunch of old systems gathering dust in my closet so i'm really just experimenting at this point, thanks for your help!
Ha ha, me being a total noob to this really sucks! >_> I guess first I need to figure out how to properly arrange the internals of the device in a new casing before I can design one with adequate dimensions huh? Ahhh man at first I didn't think this would be too terribly difficult, but building a computer is MUCH easier than building one of these bad boys o.O

That is exactly what you will need to do. Also, it's a good idea to make sure you can get all the electronics working before you start thinking about cases. Check out finished portables on this site to get a feel of how cases are usually done, and then follow the method someone used on a case that you liked. So far no one's really found an "easy" case to use or make for either GC or DC - you might have to design it from scratch unless you find some useful project box or something.
