I, have desided to make a choice to bring back the Famicom Disk system Portable, but in a brand new way, I plan to use a premade famicom portable, the small red one, and plan on taking an FDS and downsizeing it so it is micro small and can be attached to the PF and be able to play the usual games

if your talking about a famiclone they dont have expanson ports so you cant hook it up to one

what are you taking about familone, this is an already protablized unit not a home made one or one of ben's that i might have made, no sir, this is a mass production one that is made in a factory in taiwan

it dose have controller ports according to the guy in the reveiw (could be full of crap) but dont kow if they are expanson ports though ive never seen one so I dont relly know ide look into it before you buy one if you intend to use it with the fds and see if it actually has an expanson port I went ahead and posted the question on lik-sangs site lets see if they answer

oh, thanks, I wish it wouldn't take two weeks just to have a comment put up,
but still I don't understand the need for an expansion port when all I need is a cart slot

well as you know the first famicom had its controllers bulit in so with most famiclones the second player controller port is wired to what would be the hard wired player 2 controller the expanson port is the onley port the oringanl famicom had sence there are 2 controller ports on the pocket famicom its likeley they are for the 2 controllers and are not expanson ports at least the way I see it

the Famicom Disk system plugs into the expanson port along with the cart slot at least thats what ive always been told

^hay the fds dose not use the expanson port after all I was lied to sorry I feel very stupid now and I will never again trust someboadys word sory for the confusion its my falt to takeing the word of a dumbass
