Staying Awake

Post by JackFrost22 »

A couple of friends and myself have decided that we have to make the most of this summer. Step one is a LAN party for 48 hours straight and then a contest for who stays up the longest. I will set up a webcam on DOomporatavbles with the late night hours. which is the afternoon for you diffeent timezone people. Well anyway. I hate annocing this stuff so early and getting you guys excited but the idea just came to me. Also that mytrey portable is still getting worked on. Its a hard one

I found the best thing for 2 day straight LAN's is to really make sure you take that 10 minute break every hour from the screen and to switch the game every 6 hours. If you run out of games go for the old school bargain bin. Red Alert 2 is hella cheap these days. :)

Oh, and you probably won't last past 72 hours. Near the end of the second day you will start seeing a lot of crazy hallucinations. Spiders crawling up walls, childhood frights dodging at you from the side or out of perspective. Walls will pull in our out. It's like a free acid trip. By then you will WANT to go to sleep solely to get the visions away. Oh, sounds will happen too.

Get plenty of Bawls, like 10 cases or so, and you'll be set.

I could imagine a frightened, shaking Jack, hiding under the kitchen table in the night, his head wrapped in tin foil, eyes wide, pupils constantly moving, muttering to himself and screaming to "him" every so often. Any attempt to help him up and he recoils, and finds refuge with one of the table legs, grasping it as though it was the one who gave him life. When he finally is forced out, kicking and screaming, he would look horrific. Eyes bloodshot, skin pale as paper, limbs thinner than twigs.

That was fun...

Any descriptions of JackFrost22 made in the elaborate, flowered post are purely fiction, and were made for the fun of the English Language. Thank you.
