Stupid portable problems.

Alright, I've been installing stuff in my case for my n64p. But now my screen won't get any picture. I've done nothing to it except attach tact switches to the corners of each of the volume and brightness buttons.

Plus my battery suddenly stopped outputting the voltage out of the normal joints, its the fp-970. Suddenly the only place giving off voltage is the b pads, not the normal p pads. The n64 and screen were on then suddenly the battery stopped, and according to my multimeter, I'm still getting the voltage. So I don't need to charge it.

So no video, and the battery is acting funky.

I AM GETTING SO TIRED OF ALL OF MY STUFF QUIT WORKING ON ME!!!!!!!

Sorry, I was venting a lot. I'm still angry though. I mostly want any advice on what to try to get the screen to work.

Well, I'm pretty sure my screen is fried. The only thing that turns on is the leds. The blue stuck pixel in the corner is no longer there, I get no picture, and the volume and brightness controls don't show up on screen. Also the green led on the back of screen board doesn't light up anymore.

I was wondering, is it possibly to only buy the board on the trading post, and just use it on my the current screen I have now?

Perhaps you should talk to this guy about doing a trade...

You probably had a short somewhere which fried the screen and either tripped or fried the protection circuit. You most definitely should not bypass the circuit.

My polaroid battery would shut off if I shorted the battery terminals. Once I hooked it up to the charger it flipped the protection off.

He's right. All I had to do was put a little bit of power back into the circuit and it worked just fine. Other post was edited due to stupidity.
