WTB: a few annoying supplies

Post by manuba »

Looking for these parts has been a hassle, and I don't need enough from digikey to make a worth while order so I'm seeking a helping hand. I'm soooooooo close to a portable. Missing:

3mm 3.5v~4v white L.E.D.s x3- for the psone screen mod
tact switches x5 - 4.5mm to 6mm
12" 24 awg ribbon cable - bought a lot off ebay and its all 34 awg

I know the tact switches can be scrounged but I'm using all of the good ones I found in another project.

Will pay up to $12 for all this, that's how bad I need them.

You can't get 24 AWG ribbon cable to my knowledge. Normal ribbon cable is 28 I think. And Ultra ATA is even smaller. You're better off looking for "hook-up" wire.

That's fine but It needs to be ribbon cable to make cart slot instillation easier  . I just need someone to help me out with these parts because the sipping for this small of a quantity is too much. These are the last parts I need for a portable!!!

I have some tact switches. If they'll fit in an envelope I might be able to send them. MIGHT. Where do you live, roughly?

I have some of the LEDs you're looking for. Just send me a SASE with a buck in it and you have a deal.

There's absolutely no electronics place where I live. Oh wait, there's The Source (formerly by Circuit City) but they're a ripoff and have no selection. So I pretty much have to order all my stuff from RP Electronics in Vancouver. One of these days I'll try HVWTech/Solarbotics.

In any case, PM replied.
