Re: Windows 7 RC available NOW!
I have an hour to go on the 3GB 64-Bit iso.
I'm kinda mad because I just installed the 7077 Beta like 2 weeks ago (upgraded from the 7000 Beta). Oh well, whatever. All my installed apps installers and games are backed up on my external hard drive so it will be an easy restoration.
Is there anything really new in the RC compared to previous betas?

Re: Windows 7 RC available NOW!
windows 7 is all the shiny pretty slick interfaces of vista (and then some, its better lookin) with the lighter system requirements and less bloat like XP. win7 is what vista SHOULD have been. and this is just from my experience with beta 7000. will give my thoughts on RC1 once i get it up and running, maybe later this week

Is Win7 made for stupid people? Because I heard they handed it to that retard who designed that copulate ribbon interface.

Re: Windows 7 RC available NOW!
It seems okay, but...
That seems like a female of the dog species. And that's only a year away. I think I'll wait for a cracked version of the retail.Watch the calendar. The RC will expire on June 1, 2010. Starting on March 1, 2010, your PC will begin shutting down every two hours. Windows will notify you two weeks before the bi-hourly shutdowns start. To avoid interruption, you’ll need to install a non-expired version of Windows before March 1, 2010. You’ll also need to install the programs and data that you want to use. (Learn more about installing Windows.)
Hey, sup?

Re: Windows 7 RC available NOW!
well it wouldnt exactly make a whole lot of sense to release a public beta with no time limit when you will be releasing a retail product now would it?

Could you just move the clock back to keep it working?
Anyone want to give me a computer capable of running windows 7?

How about cranking it well into the future then turning it back?

Re: Windows 7 RC available NOW!
I realize this is probably a very stupid question, but if I don't purchase a full license when the RC runs out, could I just reinstall my current OS? I'm thinking about trying this with my office computer, and I know there's no money for me to get a new OS this year or next year.
